Challenging Breath Tests in Washington State
What you should know is that submitting to the breath test at the scene is voluntary. But not submitting to the breath test at the station may result in a driver’s license suspension of one year.
As noted, although you may refuse a breath test, your license will automatically be suspended if you do.
